Nah he just got a lot of hits and more success from that era.

But any real thug fan u talk to will tell u SL2 is at the bottom of his discography. SMF is a great album but it’s not ranked among his best either.

He needed to remove the songs like scoliosis and bubbly. It’s like he had a vision of what he wanted the album to be and then threw in some mainstream s*** for streams.

He should’ve kept it slow and melodic all the way throughout. Trim it down to 14 songs and it’s amazing

Yeah we all know those are basically the ex thug haters favourite thug albums but they were still appreciated by most people.

I dont think the project is complete garbage although there are some terrible song, but overall its just really meh & forgettable imo

I just thought it was boring, I have to give it another listen tbh

Will never understand why he replaced half the songs that fit more for the concept and then never gave us the deluxe that was supposed to have them. Like literally why!!

Every time I think about this album I just get disappointed. I don't hate it at all, it has plenty of great songs but it just didn't hold me like most of his catalog does.

It felt like he had a real idea and then dampened the rock elements (look at how much more alive it seemed like the instrumentation was gonna be based on that Tiny Desk set), strayed away from actually telling personal stories he implied he would, and worst of all; swapping songs that fit the theme better (like Police) in favor of stream generators because the album was now releasing too far away from So Much Fun to ride that wave commercially.

It’s fantastic. Best since thugger girls and maybe better sorry folks !
