It’s almost 6AM and I need a nap y’all but before I go i’ll show u another classic of mine but this one I agree that it’s not necessarily a great project, it’s flawed, but in my opinion, u could’ve played this album front to back in a party in 2015 and nobody would complain, solid pop rap album loaded with hits:

    Wiz Khalifa - Blacc Hollywood

I will go as far as to say this is one of the greatest albums from the last 25 years, and one we always forget to mention when discussing the work the ladies have been putting in. I feel like everyone’s heard a couple songs from this album but couldn’t place a name of artist or song.

yeah man i play this just as much as Sister and Daydream Nation. I'd say Murray Street is on the same level, but Sonic Nurse is a bit more palatable if I just wanna put some SY on

Idk I just had this idea in my mind, name an album that you consider a classic but don’t think anyone else would agree with that.
To kick it off with mine:
    Gucci Mane - Everybody Looking

I absolutely love everything about this tape, from the messy “clone” rumors and the gucci new look, the beautiful cover art, it all sounds like a rich victory lap, this is exactly how you drop music after being gone for a while (cough cough, u hearin this bobby shmurda)
Production was A1, features all perfect
My fav tracks are probably P Print ft. Ye, Gucci Please and 1st Day out Tha Feds

    excellent album

    juvenile - solja rags

i like this even better than 400 degreez tbh. he reached his technical skill here. great mannie fresh beats. cinematic intro track. good features. legendary cover. cohesive vibe. one of my favorite cmr 90s releases.

"you gotta believe that you a solja... uptown solja!"

CAKE had an underrated run in the late 90s/early 00s. of their albums, Motorcade of Generosity gets underlooked with the likes of comfort eagle and prolonging the magic. but there's a rawness to it that sets it apart. I love going back to it

I agree with you on this one, always crazy to me when all that hate is spewed on it especially the “put me to sleep” accusations when it had some lowkey hits like Neighbors and Immortal. Only track I skip is Folding Clothes and even that one I sometimes randomly play

Yeah honestly it was Coles Mr. Morale. An album for himself that he released for his core base

Also folding clothes last verse is one of the best verses in the album. Ppl were being dense hating on that track when the overall message was some real s***. Also the instrumental is heat

Changes probably one of Coles best tracks ever too

nah this is canonically a watershed moment for sound

This is easily his most underrated and slept on project. I don't get why it has so many bad reviews.. and he was made fun for mimicking 2Pac, Biggie and Eazy-E on "Never Can Say Goodbye." He was simply paying homage.
