It definitely belongs in the argument for top5 but I’ve never really understood it being called the best Future tape by far etc
Guess it’s mostly Fewtch older fans who just lived through that moment and got attachment to that hype, because personally I catched up to that tape way later
It’s the opposite
It’s newer future fans that overhype it. Don’t get me wrong it’s great but yeah
Been a future fan since Astronaut Status
Nah C4 is the worst of the Carter series when seeing Waynes standards
Still a great album
Nailed it, this is a great description of why that tape is so special in his discography
Facts
Niggas don’t realize that new ATL wave was coming and wrecking s***
When Migos, Quan, Thug, and Peewee were coming up it was looking scary for Future bc they were carrying that ATL s***
Felt like niggas were doing his style but better than he dropped Monster on Halloween, I’ll never forget it

Idk man maybe it’s actually a bit of both tbh
But in the end of day still it’s a fire tape
Still a great album
I wouldn't say it's a great album. It's a solid album though.
This s*** is still under appreciated:
Bean
Yessirskii
Leaders the most underrated joint here
Maybe I gotta revisit but I remember being so turned off by how tired/bitter Lupe sounded
Has about 5 great tracks 3 good ones the rest filler.
Nah but if it had the originally planned unreleased songs then yes
This trajectory is interesting. Had we gotten LupEND & FNL2 do you think we’d get an album like T&Y and this newer version of Skullz?
