Season ended strong but yeah overall Season 1 was better. I'd give this like a 7/10.

This season was pretty mid tbh. Both of the leads were boring. Felix is just unlikable and uninteresting, and Walt and his whole crew were generic and pointless as f***. The entire DEA plot of this season was just a waste of screen time, it went nowhere. There wasn’t really a story worth telling from this era, they should’ve just done a time jump between seasons and explained all of this stuff in a narration montage.

I really hate the DEA side of things in S2. Walter is really an insufferable character. His brother gets killed in a d*** deal so he decides to go down south and try to put an end to d*** trafficking for good? What? I guess that would make sense if he was a 14 year old kid when it happened and he swore to get revenge like a f***ing comic book. Not some balding 30 year old. It really seemed like they wanted us to root for Walter so he could get revenge for his bother, who we don't even know and we hardly even know anything about Walter. Also it seemed like his brothers Wife didn't even know Walter. Like she didn't even want to talk to him. God I hope they kill that mf in S3.

Yea Walt was an absolute trash character. Just a clearance rack Steve Murphy-type. They were supposed to be telling some big revenge story for Kiki, but the whole DEA side was ass this season, they were useless and accomplished nothing. Would’ve been better off just leaving them out altogether, or focusing on Calderoni would’ve been way more interesting actually.
