Hard disagree. The anime isn’t that great because of filler but the plot line in the manga after the recap has been hard.

Last time I was caught up, Boruto/Naruto/Sasuke were in that other world fighting Isshiki in the manga, and the anime was just hard stuck on the absolute worst filler imaginable. Also heard about anime-only villains, recycled/boring fights, garbage animation, and so on that plagued the series.

I've recently seen pictures of a time jump though, so is it now getting better? Or is there a point before.
