it took 3 years for nearly eevrything you said to happen. 3 years for something to get even remotely decent is unacceptable. If this was any other show, people would call it trash lol

It’s a 1 chapter a month manga, it’s only on chapter 56 currently. Naruto chapter 56 was barely halfway through the chunin exams for perspective

And if you’re complaining about the anime well... I have to say it’s your fault expecting a show that’s 80% filler to be good 100% of the time. Blame the fact that there’s no source material

it's one chapter with like 2.5x the info so it's really like 100-120 chapters.

And in 3 years, the OG anime progressed substantially even with the filler

that's because the anime had years of source material to already start working with, which is why the end of naruto had 100+ filler episodes

Naruto started 3 years after the first anime chapter. Meaning, if boruto was on the same time table, it would be starting now, and it would reach the point in the manga, where wild s*** is happening currently, in about 6 months to a year. Naruto also ramped up in preparation for shippuden which is why there ended up being a lot more source material to work from, and even then they had to do 100% filler for over half the original anime because they needed to give time for new shippuden chapters to come out. Which is why shippuden ended up being more than 50% filler by the end of it. Like ive said before, the source material comes out at 1/4 of the speed of boruto, which is just starting to go somewhere now that kishimoto is steering it towards the end point

your argument makes no sense lmao. the only difference is that boruto had to START with filler due to no source material, and naruto did not.

That's why i think boruto anime shoulda waited like 2 years instead of literally the next week

But the anime has been getting steadily better (animation wise) even before kawaki was introduced. Im probably gonna start watching again
