You know what? I actually agree. He just gets overshined because people usually just see Wu-Tang as a group and kind of forget about their solo s***. It's annoying because I'm listening to 36 chambers right now, and don't get me wrong it's dope but some of these songs I'm just not in the mood for

I can toss on some GFK and just immediately f*** with it instead of having to be in the right mood.

    Yep

  • he’s def a goat to some ppl

he’ll always be in my top 10

masses usually just follow what next man say so it’s all good if that’s who you think is the goat that’s who you think is the goat

This is absolutely the truth. After Wu-Tang Forever it just seemed like they sort of lost their energy they had. I mean I still personally FW the new stuff, and it seems like you do also and LOTS of other people. I mean Wu-Tang is one of the BIGGEST rap groups ever in terms of fans, you see people rocking shirts ALL the time of theirs (funny story about that too).

But yeah, agreed, even if some people don't like their whole artistic style as a group they can branch out and find the solo rappers that they enjoy. That's what makes them special (as you said).

Also, I bought a f***ing Wu-Tang shirt from Urban Outfitters and it shrunk to like 3 sizes too small I was SOOO disappointed.

Me and Just love Ghostface so much, that’s Hip-Hop’s favorite rapper and one of my favorite rappers, so we were trying to make all these beats for Ghostface but just so happens we’re at Roc-A-Fella and Jay heard them and rapped on them. We were making all these beats for Ghostface because we get so inspired by his albums. I feel like I got my whole style from Ghostface. Listen to what I’m saying, I need that in print, I feel like I got my whole style from Ghostface.

They deny it but Hov owes a lot of his legacy to Ye

    Absolutely

  • Feb 20, 2021

He’s definitely up there for me. He may not have ever hit the mainstream highs that Hov and Nas did, but he has a discography that’s been consistently good for decades now.

He's been saying that SC2 is coming for about a decade now lol

I feel GFK’s music is harder to throw on all time which hurts his case for me personally, replay is important

  • Feb 21, 2021

I mean wu only got two group albums worth a f***. But those first generation solo albums were basically wu albums, so idk if I agree with this.
