As someone who’s listened to Nas since the 90’s you’re being biased. I am is criminally low on his list and the first 2 KD’s weren’t it for me, but KD3 is in the upper tier of Nas albums without question

I literally just said he placed I am way too low. I miss the story telling too, the voice is fine. I agree there’s a lot of repetitive topics on the HB albums. In retrospect only KD3 is top tier from the 6 but I enjoy all the magic’s. KD 1&2 are lower tier albums. This new one is excellent though, as someone who’s supposed to like the old school I’m surprised your bias won’t let you see past it tbh
