Kanye tried to make a Nas album and it was trash and out of sync
I agree. They slapped it together in like a week. What’s your point?
What you think if you mention Kanye imma be like this
What does any of this have to do with Nas?

Imma let you go back to the Donda thread hope it drops on time Fingers Crossed
Stillmatic is 100% a classic! KD debatable
Stillmatic is not a classic just because Ether and One Mic are on it
I was around in 2001 I'd know

So was I and it 100% was. Also 5 mics in the source back when that meant something
I’d say Stillmatic and Kings Disease aren’t classics.
Stillmatic has classic songs tho
How is Stillmatic not a classic but King's Disease II is???

You're literally the only person I've encountered in 30 years that thinks that
More people talk about The Blueprint, hell even Supreme Clientele, than Stillmatic and I like Nas. Its a great album but the album itself didn't change people's lives like the other 2 did or even The Lost Tapes
Y'all gotta stop saying every album you really liked is a classic if it didn't resonate with more ppl besides you

Nas was dead before the album dropped, counted out by everyone! This album literally brought him back to the discussion of the GOAT’s plus that album and the blueprint and also the beef were literally all over the radio. Plus it coined the phrase Ethered which is used daily on this site

Ether is why people coined the phrase Ethered. Otherwise despite everything I live in NY and nobody talks about Stillmatic, just those 2 songs off it.

And ether is on the album you can’t expect every song to be quoted. And don’t act like they’re the only 2 classic songs on the album, 2nd childhood, rewind, smokin, your da man, the flyest… I could go on

You say this like Nas wasn’t trying to make an album there too..

You really think Nas wanted to record a 7 track album in under a week? I don’t

I don’t think he was forced to record or release anything so…

Come on bro, after DAYTONA that s*** was a train wreck

You're purposely missing my point lol

Idk if you mean the Nas album specifically or just the Wyoming sessions in general- but if it’s the latter then I strongly disagree. The Teyana and Cudi collabs turned out pretty well
And I’m not hating- got KDII playing rn
That's like saying Dreams and Nightmares is a classic because the intro is on it
"The intro is on the album!"

Minus the cudi album I’d say every Wyoming album personally
