    Kendrick is massively overrated in the grand scheme of things, and of course he’s not on Nas level, but he’s probably the best artist of this last generation and will probably be in the top 10-20 discussion when all is said and done

    The problem I’ve always ran into when it comes to the lyricism debate is dudes bringing up random underground artists that are absolutely crazy with it

    Or dudes bringing up battle rappers that are nice with triple+ entendres

    Yea those dudes may be nice with the pen but the music is basura tier

    Kendrick’s upper hand is his lyrical consistency for a decade+ and the artistry that he fuses it with

    The krazy thing is Kendrick still improving in lyricism, delivery and content this far into his career.

    His run from family ties verse to now is elite tier that not many could accomplish as a veteran

    What do you consider some elite level Kendrick storytelling tracks? I’m guessing Duckworth, reincarnated and sing about me? I honestly find these tracks so boring and tedious to get through. Not at all captivating. Does he have any better than these? Genuine question
