Wish we could just stop the x is better than y and just enjoy the music
you saying x isn't better than y?
I gave you power, rewind, undying love, blaze a 50, poppa was a playa, Fetus, Sekou Story
I disagree
I say this objectively, Kanye really snapped & made an amazing beat with poppa was a playa
not at all
@op your post oozes of stupid, evil, coward even, but it reminds me of Arnold Schwarzenegger's response to the troll who had demeaned the Special Olympics.
So like Arnold responded, let's make this a teachable moment.

After Kendrick Lamar commanded attention with the surprise release of his sixth album GNX on Nov. 22, revered rapper Nas posted the album cover on his Instagram with a loving note to Lamar. “Always inspired by my brother KL,” he wrote. “Keeping the essence of this s*** alive and at the forefront. Salute King!”
And the line from the opener of GNX
Won the Super Bowl and Nas the only one congratulate me
Just be happy you and me both were born in a timeline of two great artists who love their craft and have worked hard 🍻
Jay Z is a better lyricist than Kanye but Kanye made better music.
Being a better lyricist does not mean you're a better artist.
That's why nobody tryna listen to battle rappers albums.
True but let’s not downplay rap, Hov commonly being referred to as the GOAT rapper is something that must be respected on a high level or we dont really care about rap, we just like pop music
yes Kanye is the GOAT hip hop artist but he not even a top 10 rapper OAT

LMFAOOOOO
Planet Asia, Royce, and Rome are not better than Kendrick lmfao
I think Kendrick is overrated as hell and half that list is laughable to me
Kendrick is massively overrated in the grand scheme of things, and of course he’s not on Nas level, but he’s probably the best artist of this last generation and will probably be in the top 10-20 discussion when all is said and done
Probably END UP in the top TWENTY discussion all time?
You realize we’re halfway through the 2020s right?
Planet Asia, Royce, and Rome are not better than Kendrick lmfao
mos, DOOM, Ghost and Rae, Pun I can see being better, Nas Hov Big Wayne are up there with Kendrick, Lupe is up there too. BT aint rapped about a single interesting thing in his entire career, andre is cool. the rest i dont even wanna bother going thru, with all respect to everyone mentioned
Probably END UP in the top TWENTY discussion all time?
You realize we’re halfway through the 2020s right?
Top 10-20 rap artists, what’s that got to do with what year it is

You think there’s anyone from his generation who should rightfully be that high?

Nope, I think he’s the best of his generation
What guy just said Planet Asia better lyrically than Kendrick lmao yall zealots really got them heads way up on yall asses damn
Planet asia is heavily underappreciated
DOOM, Black Thought, Andre 3,000, Mos Def, Rakim, Raekwon, Ghostface, GZA, KRS, Biggie, Nas, Jay Z, Jay Electronica, Roc Marci, Mach-Hommy, Rome Streetz, Conway The Machine, Big L, Lupe, Aesop Rock, Pharoahe Monch, Prodigy, Planet Asia, Guru, Scarface, Wayne, Pun, Method Man, Royce da 5'9"
Shoutout for prodigy
You think there’s anyone from his generation who should rightfully be that high?
I don’t hate Kendrick, I generally like his music. GKMC and TPAB are classics. I just find the d*** riding annoying. It was the same for Kanye up to Yeezus, he could release a fart on wax and the critics and fans would hail it as prolific. And I do think he’ll be in the conversation for top 10ish of all time when it’s all said and done, but for me the last 25 years haven’t exactly been prime years in rap. There are a lot of 90’s and even some 80’s artists I’d have over him
