Saw that they gave all those generic trap albums higher scores than Nas lol (they have a special category for "lyrics"), simply outrageous. Why don't we have critics who actually take genuine interest in rap and evaluate rapping/writing techniques anymore?
Yeah generally critics are terrible these days! If I remember about 5 years or so ago they became a rap/wrestling/MMA site 😂 prior to that their reviews weren’t that terrible
Just saw it, already expected it tbh bc they didn't post much about the album before/when it dropped. Terrible review, but that's P4k for ya.
Lol they gave Lupe’s drogas wave a lower score than drogas light which was a lot of trap inspired unreleased songs lol.
Drogas Wave was clearly the better album lol....

Much better album. Wasn’t a fan of light at all
Now normally I don't care much for reviews, but this is a snippet of a review I read from "RapReviews.com"
The biggest missed opportunity lies in Nas’ inability to reach beyond the ambitious presentation found in everything surrounding the lyrics. He’s entertaining in spurts, but much like his “godly” contemporary Jay-Z, one has to wonder if what he says ever really matters on “King’s Disease” any more.
"One has to wonder if what he says ever really matters anymore"

So f***ing stupid
That p4k review the way they tried to paint misogyny in car 85 with this
"“Car #85” Nas recalls chasing a teenage crush to Co-op City only to find 10 fellow suitors waiting outside her building. "
What
this is such a great listen
not a single dull moment or bad beat, Hit Boy really did his job executive producing the project, wish Nas never met Salaam Remi tbh

So many great records on this album
All bad needs to go to radio tomorrow. I swear my favorite song at the moment.
Pitchfork praises literal garbage, idk why yall are hurt
According to Pitchfork Hip-Hop is Dead and Street's Disciple are both superior.
Second half of the cure is how you f***ing rap c Nas from now on that’s how you rap every time.
First 4 reviews that got posted were cool then it all went to s***
Music journalism is a joke in 2020
@localblaccmane this is just awful
Peep the replies, dude got destroyed
What the actual f***! Probably his least misogynistic album in his discography. If anything it celebrates women. Nas hate by critics is so corny with this album
