Google controlled by the devil… unless it’s for things she approves of aka keyword searches

Searching “is google controlled by the devil” on google is some wild s***

Edit: forgot that was for the “satanic Halloween origins”. Still nuts tho

feel like this show is gonna get a lot of backlash for being cruel. Nathan For You already had a bit of that but this last episode took it to the next level

making a guy, who was really close to his grandfather before he recently passed, befriend an old man, have a much needed bonding experience, change the man's diapers, and then mourn his death before getting into another dispute over a will is a pretty emotional toll to put on a person already going through it lol

wonder if dude was so shaken emotionally he had to dip or got to googling and realized this weird awkward guy Nathan played him into wiping a stranger's ass

hope that scene wasn't real btw

either way this has gone too far. I'm all for the hijinks and the main concept is still funny, but my entertainment shouldn't have to come at the cost of another person's emotional wellbeing

but which makes you a worse person, an offhand antisemitic remark or making a person relive a life trauma without his consent

he ain’t make the guy do anything

double actor dude literally asked him several times are you sure you wanna help my grandpa n guy said yeah

n the emotional moment he got into was him outbursting some intense emotions n feelings that i doubt bro ever thought he would say out loud, much less in a room full of strangers playing extras and a dude who is pretending to be his brother bro had an exorcism it wasn’t a negative thing

I don't even think that's why Nathan did it. It felt like Nathan just accepted that the guy was ignorant and moved on.

I think Nathan would have done the exact same thing, regardless of the anti-semitic remarks. It feels like Nathan hadn't even considered that it would negatively effect the guy, he just thought it would make good tv.

damn if you know the dude so well tell him to post here and share his experience

and yea the actor asked him if he could help load something into his truck, not form an intimate asswiping relationship with an undercover actor and then think they die the next day lol

it's ok bro just admit you're an accessory to Nathan Fielder's cruelness

Truthfully, I think Nathan has very low emotional intelligence (he's autistic, and I don't mean that as an insult in any way). He's a very nice person, but I don't think Nathan has ever considered that what he does could be emotionally harmful to the real people he's using.

He's clearly very self conscious, I'm sure he's aware of the discourse currently surrounding his work, and I would imagine he's reflecting on the things he's done and where he may have gone too far.

If we ever get another season of this, or another show where he uses real people, I bet Nathan will address these accusations directly, or at the very least change his tactics to be less manipulative.

  • this episode how does he even think of this
