treemanNew NO SPOILER review. Extremely well put together, fantastic score but goddamn it had no reason being so long. Rich manipulative white people do rich manipulative white people s***, I couldn’t care less that investors were scammed and this movie just made me dislike rich nepo babies even more. Overall really well done but could’ve been cut an hour shorter without all of the filler and unnecessary commentary from irrelevant parties

NeonNigga23She only got in trouble for scamming investors but she also scammed the public with false cancer/AIDS/etc diagnoses. They were gonna put her bullshit into every walgreens
While I get that. It was 3 years in limited locations and Walgreens choosing to partner with her being thirsty while not at all verifying the results is also on them.
Whether you think she knowingly tried to pass hugely inaccurate testing that gave false positives just for the money and fame is on you.
But logically someone doing that knowing they would secure prison time and lose all their wealth becomes a mess
This movie works best if you go into it hating Elizabeth Holmes and finding her to be a pathological liar who is responsible for all of the Theranos issue and the main center of culpability
she is definitely part of it for sure. But everyone else along the way is ALSO CULPABLE is what I got from it. Her current boyfriend, Her past husband, Walgreens and anyone who entertained the idea without verifying the results

Went to the theater at 945pm and didn’t leave til 1am
9:15 getting out at like 12:45 I was in there so long I started to think what if _ died and I am just in a movie.
Had no right being that long. Especially when a lot of what occured wasnt new information or really learning more about her as a human being. It was using her at times for content or showing how out of touch she was. Making jokes about her as a way of revenge for what she did. When she already going to prison for 11 years lol. I get it what she did was bad. She lied to investors. Defrauded them. Lead to patients getting false results. I would have loved some s*** like patients who got false results facing her or asking her questions or her seeing the results of what she did on them in some form.
I could care less about rich investors they can eat s*** and die regardless. Them making her a billionaire , popular, then taking it all away and she is poor now makes no part of billy or her want money to film her life not doing it for free shocking.
A24 will make crazy money off a movie that honestly in no way helped her public image. Yes it shows its more than just her. Shows she is human being but insinuates she is the greatest liar and evil mastermind the world may ever know. Legally for her after she gets out she should have not reached out to anyone for this and just lived her life.
legally she shouldnt even try to create a Theranos 2.0 for redemption or whatever . But the moment they are talking to the man who in for the sequel of it they cut the interview because of a coke head
so at times "you can see everything" but at times you can feel a24, Lance and Nathan framing it where you can see WHAT THEY WANT YOU TO SEE.

NunTheWiserOn some real s***, my family had a house fire last Monday and this has been the worst week of my life and seeing this last night was a legitimate escape. So f***ing pumped to see it again.
