How the f*** do you switch defensive assignments in mycareer?
For ex, I want my pg to guard sg
Switch and take the “leave assignment” to the chest and your teammate will end up forced to guard yours
I lowkey just realised my 82 OVR finisher might be the woat build
Only thing I'm good at w this dude is layups
Make balanced builds with defense/finishing/shooting. If you can get 10 shooting badges and a 60+ 3 pointer you can shoot. The higher the 3pt the easier the green. Like a 2way pass first or a 2way slashing playmaker. Sharp facilitator. Finishers are usually one dimensional and insanely easy to stop

Thank you! I really appreciate this and will keep in mind for the next game.
I actually somewhat do decent given the one dimensional build cuz I can cut to the rim easily and finish like it’s nothing, but in rec people are just ball hogs and brick threes rather than pass

Yeah slashing in the rec is more difficult. You can always make a new build. It’s easy to stack vc if you play consistently
Just got this game on the cheap trying to learn quick. Really casual basketball fan too so it’s tough lol
There’s something I’m missing with controlling players off the hall. People I’m playing online can always get their big man in position to just scoop up and dunk/ lay up.
Or have their defensive players primed easier.

Make sure your players got the clamps and range extender badges or u gone get cheesed all game

I feel like the time for that has lowkey passed tbh. Made a couple builds but having to grind from 65 just seemed dead to me. Preciate the advice regardless fam.
That Kobe grind was unreal
Curious to see what your guys’ lineups are looking like
