2K will never find the grey area between arcade and realism gameplay bc the community is always second guessing themselves. Too realistic, they want it more unrealistic. Then you get the tall forwards with handles and they complain again. Add that to 2K being a s***ty greedy company and it has been a recipe for disaster for years. And 22 is looking the same way lowkey but I hope I'm wrong

Yea this
The community is just to big and doesn’t really have one group that knows exactly what they’re talking about and wants good for the game
The casuals like the goofy stuff
The try hards with black hands wanna cheese and look cool because they’re life sucks
Niggas dad want the game to play like the ‘97 finals
People like me just want sim but still fun
People that didn’t play until 2k16 want that
And the company does what Evers gonna make bred and drive micro transactions
So we won't even get to try out the gameplay until launch
They not on schedule that’s why the game dropping a week late

They would benefit a lot from a two year cycle or at least a year and a half . I know their investors may not be too fond of it but damn it would help a lot

idk why they would be mad when they make 10x more in sales from micro transactions than actual game development
sure you lose out on new game sales but they wouldn’t have to pay for developing a new game and just have them focus on s***ty my team updates to keep the cash flowin
the city reminded me a lot of 2k14 park where there was a lot of u realized potential
i think 22 will be fun but ultimately reveal that there’s no hope for sports video games

They def make more profit off of their yearly releases . After a year , the amount of people buying VC for my players are heavily reduced
And the my team realm is usually dirt cheap and easier to manage by that point . A new release kinda resets all of that and maximizes micro transactions for the next game . If we looking strictly from the money standpoint i get it
Y’all want a better 2k stop buying this s*** srs.
You will complain this s*** is ass and then turn around and give these little s***s 100$ ever year.
i’m hoping this’ll be good. downloading ‘20 again as we speak cause i can’t bear with ‘21 anymore. first 2k i’ve bought on release since ‘16 and it’s big trash. and now that i’ve got a ps5 i’m not even sure if i should buy ‘22 or not cause i heard the next gen version was a mess

I like next gen and think it’s the best game since 17 but it’s a wait and see type thing if you don’t got it already

wish they had a demo so i could try out for myself but i’ll probably wait a couple weeks to decide if it’s worth it or not

2k14 park was probably the best version
It was really simple

It’s a good game but it’s ass
It’s boring as f***
There’s nothing new to do in the game
There’s only old niggas and kids playing at this point
All the try hards made 6’5 PFs with Kyrie handles
Gameplay is good tho 2k just didn’t fix the game until a month after it was out and never fixed all the bs

Sadly it’ll never happen but if they just made a great game with replay value it’ll last well over a year

It’s kind of a hard thing to do
Like yea me and you can say oh we’re not gonna buy this game this year but it’s still gonna do over a billion in sales strictly off casuals
It’s the only basketball game out
