Then define a bust solely as a relative to the team that drafted him, not the player as a whole in the career.

That’s what a bust is smart ass

I never told you he couldn’t be good but if he’s not great he’s a bust because he was expected to be a great player.

Why is that so hard to fathom?

You have to consider he is also injury prone. He hasn’t proved he’s a reliable player yet.

I have no reason to be biased I’m a heat fan the Fuc has lonzo done to any nba fanbase to piss them off... he’s even been to the playoffs lol.

Listen if you want to define him as a bust solely to the Lakers and not his career as a whole I'd agree with that.

But, I don't think people have a clear definition of what a bust is. Many use it as a complete write off of the player. That's clearly not the case in Lonzo, he can play.

You agree he's decent so you can say to the teams who picked him up after the Lakers he's not a bust because he's paid to perform atleast as well as he has so far which is decently.

That obviously isn't universally accepted as the only definition, hence the argument on both sides. He's a bust in your definition but not mine. Both our views makes sense so that's it

Hard to not call him a bust when Trae and Luka are already out there balling at an all star level.

Like i said expectations change. The real expectation is the salary a player is paid after they've shown what they can do in the league. Unless you can tell me that isn't the case you have no real argument bro

Bad logic because Wiggins got 147 million and he’s a bust

That doesn't disapprove or go against my logic at all

If Lonzo averaged 3 PPG and 3 APG for the pelicans now he'd be a bust for his whole career just like Wiggins

but he didn't, so he's not a bust for his career

There’s a reason why Bron wanted Zo to be the one not included in the AD trade but Pelicans knew Zo had to be in it

Why couldn't he be? he has everything but a shot and that's one of the most improvable aspects of someone's game at that level and age

You can say this when he's like 5 years deep but he's got too much potential to say just. Fultz yes, lonzo no. He's still young and shown improvement, and has a superstar who complements him perfectly that will age with him (not the same as a rookie forced to play with LeBron)

No he didn’t. He averaged almost 18, 5, and 6 woth 43% from three out the gate lol.

He had ankle issues but he was good/elite from day one
