"They were shocked when it worked. The Dutch knew they were potentially in trouble, because it could be interpreted as a cyber attack on a presidential candidate," Vrij Nederland journalist Gerard Janssen who saw the hacking screenshots was quoted as saying.

smh that poor guy
it's a hardware/drone startup so he has to go into the office every day still lol compared to working from home it really does blow
he should leave anyway, sf's a filthy city
imagine paying 3k a month to hop over passed out junkies onto your stoop every day

have you heard anything about working at ibm? about to apply to their software eng internship but a year sounds like a long ass onboard

i think he is paying around $2k for his new spot off polk near the tendernob lol he's high up and has a nice view at least

it's a s*** legacy company. a horrible reputation, but not really a valley company per se
definitely would avoid that one if you can. i'm sure their perks are ok though since they have to retain talent and compete against the big guys

damn, thought i wanted a big name company on my resume for my first post-coding-bootcamp job
does that even matter? i know im asking hella questions sorry
i just want the job that affords me being able to buy crypto!!!!
pharcyde hours
also id think people are fleeing sf like nyc, isnt it a renters market?
if hes staying, cant he upgrade for the same price?

no you should just work at a company with the best leadership and potential you can find
companies that are growing due to the industry they are in regardless of execution risk
you should try to get in at an actual startup that has received funding even during this pandemic environment. preferably their A or B rounds. that's a good barometer to judge if a company is growing
ibm is an evil company that outsourced all their work to indians and thought they could use a management approach to technology s curves in the 90s
now they just use financial engineering on their stock while pretending watson AI is changing the world through high profile marketing meme partnerships. they aqcui-hire for innovation. nothing happens there

breakoutlist.com doesnt look like they've updated for 2020-21
you have the wrong mindset. it's a boomer mentality
noone respects people who work at some legacy company anymore. it's considered settling, especially in the bay where risk taking is rewarded. job hoppers are normal. your initial few jobs should be you learning as much as possible, not searching for non-existent prestige. really noone gives a s*** where you worked before, if you are competent
google/facebook/amazon/netflix engineering jobs are cool if you want the stability, i understand and i don't hate on it. but don't settle for ebay or yahoo etc etc please it's going to f*** your momentum. and there's a reason why FAANG jobs are so hard to get now, the competition from autistic asians/russians/whatever is insane
you're much better off finding a cool hot new startup and getting some equity and riding it out, plus you'll actually learn things and experience a fun dynamic work environment

it's still expensive as f*** for a normal young person
you are a trauma victim conditioned to believe that $1,500+ rent is ok
at this point it's more a lifestyle choice than anything. "upgrade" is subjective if you already have a nice place
he lived in the marina like 2 blocks from chrissy field with his ex for a few years too. that's about as nice as you'll get in SF but it's never enough ;)
i just want the job that affords me being able to buy crypto!!!!
you will never truly make it until you go full-time crypto
every day you (the reader) waits is another day you lose those precious potential compounding returns on your time/life
