I also don't at all believe that YB only has ~10 fans on KTT. Y'all simply just don't talk about bro that much in comparison to his contemporaries. That's all.

What’s the point of making a YB thread on here when half the site wrote him off until he renegaded Tyler

Because Yeat was still managing to be spammed on here for almost an entire year and some change...despite YB being bigger, and having collabs with many artists KTT love.

This means nothing. If anything its just further proof where KTTs tastes lie at.

And idk about yall but I was getting paid for my Yeat posts

Rod Wave, Polo G, YB all huge artist that don’t get more post than Yeat and Baby keem on KTT but they are undoubtedly way bigger artist.

I don’t get your point other than YB not having a lot of fans on KTT which we know, cause he is bigger than his peers and is talked about everywhere but here which just shows how out of touch KTT is with that side of hip hop rn

Let’s compare actual album sales between Wayne & Youngboy…

People dont understand how crazy this is. This is what happens when you just make real music with no gimmicks, no need for "eras", none of that s***.

How is this guy one of the biggest rappers of the social media generation and he doesnt use social media, hes barely promoted by the label, and he doesnt fw the rappers and they dont fw him?

The music is doing all the talking

What makes it even crazier is that he is no where close to where Wayne was earlier in his career …
I’m not saying Youngboy isn’t big, but if you compare him to Wayne.. & a few others, it’s way off

  • Aug 7, 2022

Who cares about sales. It’s longevity that matters.

I’m only speaking from them coming to Charlotte..
Keem Sold out a 2k seat club / arena.
Rod Wave sold close to 5k.
I would love to know how many tickets youngboy would sell?

one thing u cant take away from yb is his work ethic tbh

  • Aug 7, 2022

If Wayne’s loosies and mixtape tracks were certifiable instead of being ranked as Datpiff and mp3 downloads that wouldn’t be the case , not to knock YB tho still a massive achievement

    What do you guys think?
Tomorrow, if there was no streaming…
How many people would actually go out & buy YB’s album the first week?
I’m sure he would do great, but I don’t think he could do more than a couple hundred thousand..
Don’t get me wrong, no knock on him, but it’s hard to actually get people to go out & buy your album

people not gonna buy because illegal downloads but i think if yb was in physical era so much of his release would have to change. he would probably only have like 3 projects out

I agree, but I just would like to know what he would do touring..
    I think he’d be between 2-4K seats.
But back to Wayne… His album would leak 2 weeks early & still, a million people would go to the store & buy it..
    That’s insane

    Sincerely him

Ktt has been behind for literal years on YB.

He’s one of the biggest artists alive right now, and his threads top out at 1-2 pages.

But you know if Drake somehow got featured on a song he’d blow up here

stupid post, there's been yb stans on here for years

he's definitely not the biggest artist alive right now. nobody outside of the us even knows that he exist.

I don't think this a fair comparison at ALL, but good for him.

Yeah i can see him selling only a couple thousand but I think this applies to a lot of streaming era artists, didnt X only sell like 30k with ? in pure sales
