It sucks that UGA or Tenn could compete for a natty with some of the most disgusting passing games I've seen any legitimate contender have. Alabama has been doodoo almost all year and they can be a top 4 team, much less a top 12 team, in a few weeks. I can't say the ACC or Big 12 is producing teams that're overall better, but I much rather see Miami or Colorado's offenses get blessed with a natty over Carson Beck, Nico Assmelava, or Jalen Milroe
I think both teams in sec ship will make playoff no matter what
You think they would put a 3 loss CG loser in over a 2 loss CG non-participant?

No I think they all get in.

I feel like those early Bama offenses were worse than Iowa's offense last year.

Idk about all that now lol
Alabama at any point could just say we’ll go tempo and air it out and you’ll wake up to Julio going from 0 yards, 0 catches to 5 for 78
They had a gear they rarely used but could. Iowa couldn’t do a damn thing lol
I thought early on UNLV could beat Michigan after week 1 and I still feel that way. I cannot believe what has happened to both programs.

I forget when they started their WR run with Julio. Those QBs were so basic.
Higher or lower?
Haven’t beaten a team with a winning record in conference. Lower.
In a fair world, you could eliminate 3 SEC teams w the rest of this year
Auburn winning out should eliminate Alabama and A&M. Then if Texas gets fried again in the SECCG, they’d have absolutely no argument to be a quality team other than they were ranked highly in preseason and 2 losses doesn’t drag them down much. They got ZERO wins
Or I guess A&M could just kill them in their last game of the season and that logic would still hold true then

Eliminating preseason rankings and not ranking teams until they've played at least 3 games including 1 conference game could basically solve every ranking problem in this sport but it would destroy the SEC so it'll never happen
Literal G5 schedule
Texas played nobody, lost by 2 scores to the only good team they played, and dropped from #1 to #5, already back up to #3 and in prime position for a CFP bye
Indiana played nobody, and if they lose by any amount to the only good team they play they will be out of the top 10 with a 0% chance at the CFP
The game is, always has been, and always will be rigged for the SEC

I never mentioned Texas, I was just talking about Indiana. It's not rigged for the SEC. Texas lost to Georgia, but plays in the best conference in the sport. Texas played a p2 team OOC, something Indiana did the quite the opposite of. Texas beat Florida, Arkansas, Vandy (teams that have beaten other top 12 SEC teams, not saying Texas is better than those teams because of transitive, just providing context on the competition within the league). We also can't just focus on wins/losses. We need to use common sense and football sense when evaluating the teams. We know Texas is one of the 12 best in the country. Does their body of work enhance that knowledge? With a win over A&M it does, they'd undoubtedly be one of the 12 best which is the committee's job to find

Oh brother lmao
The SEC is given 10 teams in the preseason AP top 25 each year and they all have to get to like 3 losses before they're even under consideration for removal
It's all an illusion. Bad teams being grossly overranked to prop up good teams. South Carolina, Missouri, Oklahoma, Vanderbilt, LSU, not a single one of these teams has belonged anywhere near the top 25 at any point this season.
