In 2024, Penn State will face: Michigan State, Nebraska, Northwestern, Ohio State and USC at home, with Indiana, Purdue, Rutgers and Wisconsin serving as the road trips.

@Unity going to be so special watching Drew Allar have his Heisman moment next year at the whiteout vs USC
Penn State has no rivalries.
Thank god lmfao. I would've been so sick if they gave us MD/RU

And I'll be robbing the books blind both years betting on Penn State to win the big 10, make the playoff, and win the national championship

Itās kinda crazy they didnāt even get MSU.
Any ACC expansion additions will get stuck with a rivalry with PSU.

Why did they only give OSU one rivalry (and not give them Penn St or Mich St)
Meanwhile we either get a format where we gotta play UGA and UA or we trade UGA to more routinely play the UF and Tenns

Excellent question tbh. No idea why Iowa has 3.
smh
Dumb as s*** for joining the Big 10.
Big 12 would have been better trips until WVU.
With no divisions, UM and OSU could play rivalry week and then again one week later lol. Same could happen in SEC I guess too now. Will be weird

Weāve been here before BUT we had Rich Rodriguez.

the same thing was damn near possible in the SEC already lol. We used to play UGA in November, usually like the second week, and we had to play them in the SEC CG again first week of December
(I think the only way it was legitimately possible would be if Arkansas and Missouri had met, bc they're the only cross divisional we had in the prior format that played in the last week)

UGA/AU isnāt on the same level of rivalry or week as OSU/MICH. This is literally AUB/BAMA.

Where is this post coming from bro lol
I was just speaking to the possibility of repeats occurring in the SEC in b2b weeks

Iām just saying you missed when the Iron Bowl was right in front of you as the B2B possibility. Thereās not many guaranteed end of regular season games and that is the biggest the SEC has to offer.

I was just speaking to the current model, and what was possible under that. Outside of UGA/AU in 2017, I donāt know of any other rivalry in conf thatās played twice in a 3 week span, with the second being in the SEC CG
But yeah, a SEC CG Auburn/Alabama is the best matchup the SEC can hope for going forward, ofc. I think RRR might be #2 with the higher platform the SEC has seemed to afford programs (not acting like UT and OU arenāt platforms by themselves)

If they change the date of the RRR that would be big. Itās like week 5. Usually around the fair. Actually mean something when thereās so much at stake.
I just read the B10 model, and I actually think itās pretty smart when you consider how many pieces they have that donāt have real big 10 ties. There probably should be a separate argument about them having at least 3 programs who donāt have any other big 10 programs as real rivals, but itād be a fruitless conversation
The unfortunate thing with the SEC is that itās probably going to have to allow optionality on those 3 rivals, if they go that route. Alabama, LSU, and Auburn all have 3 main rivals if you look over the course of history, and at least 1 of them probably includes each other. Auburn has to play Georgia, but I know Alabama does not like to play both LSU and UTk, and Auburn-LSU are probably going to try to avoid each other
Itās possible for all hell to break loose in the near future in the B1G.
And now the SEC version
Son UGA might have to play a top 5 Alabama, top 10 Texas, resuscitated Auburn, Florida and Tennessee, and an Ole Miss that's always a problem lmfao
SEC finally doing the right thing
