Yes. When it has come to our school we have a saying called, “You can’t out Alabama, Alabama.”

LSU used to do the same with Les Miles where they just line up and run it down your throat. Then they just get out on defense and just out athlete you.

Those Bert years we would have some of the best run defenses and rushing offenses in the NCAA. Those Alabama and LSU games come it’s like we forgot what we were doing.

Well yeah the Alabamas from 10 years ago that was more talented than the rest of the sport did that lol. The Alabamas for the last half decade had more offensive talent than entire conferences and much more creative play calling than UM

Either way, this Alabama isn’t that Alabama but it’s not like UM didn’t also have trouble stopping an offense that is comparable to some of the teams listed above in talent

UM’s defense is legit in terms of NFL talent, but I don’t think it can be overstated how unimaginative the offenses are in that conference.

Purdue does some funky things with passing (they just sometimes don’t have actual talent), so I’ll give last year’s B10 four really challenging teams on offense (and UM was one of them). Past that?

Give them a month and they fail. I’m a Michigan fan, I’m used to it.

The weekly grind is different. They roll through that schedule and unlike TAMU they don’t save their non conference in Nov, they bring Alabama to Michigan in the winter.

The weather really isn’t conducive to trickeration.

OSU is the exception only because they’ve outrecruited everyone for generations. The amount of talent they have and their lack of more championships is mind boggling.
