Ion know just cause you an entertainer doesn’t mean you can’t have separate personal and professional lives

Yeah he totally could have kept it separate

If he didn't get caught lol also it was a workplace romance which is just another reason

For Ime Udoka he likely got in trouble because it was a workplace thing and he was supposedly messing with somebody apart of the Celtics organization. If the Celtics as an organization has a rule forbidding workplace relationships/romances between employees, especially when one of those employees is higher up on the organizational ladder then that's not good.

If Udoka just happened to cheat with some random IG model (common for basketball players, coaches, execs, etc) then that is their own personal business and that won't impact the team/organization.

When it comes to this guy...ion know that's strange. Cheating is wack, but that's not something that should get you fired from a job unless it's some kinda workplace situation. That's the only instance I can think of that would lead to someone getting fired.

thank you for the thought out response, i don’t agree with firing these guys still, although i can understand abuse of the power balance between a hugger ranking employee to a lower one, as long as it’s consensual i struggle to see how it’s anyones business still, rules forbidding fellow employees from engaging in relationships is wrong too (imo)

It’s a bad look for the show. They probably dropped him to avoid that controversy. Usually after the heat settles they rehire guys after the fact

Imagine in his next job interview

“It says you were fired from your last position for cheating on your wife, do you want to expand on that situation?”

because a relationship where someone holds power over someone else can easily be manipulated by the person holding the power. Whether it be ongoing or after that relationship ends.

Ime got suspended allegedly for also harassing that woman/women after she no longer wanted to be with him.

That's why those type of relationships are frowned uon
