Who cares if it’s consensual?
Who cares if it’s consensual?
Don't f*** your co-workers it's that simple lol
Don Draper wouldn't have survived a second in this generation
Yeah cuz it’s harder to fake being a war hero nowadays
Who cares if it’s consensual?
Because the company can be held liable my nigga.
have yall ever worked in a company before?
The person with power here deserves the harsher punishment
I imagine it’s this jabroni Ned but I don’t know s*** about this
And you know what I don’t really give a s*** I’m leaving this thread
Tubig Knowledge
Don't f*** your co-workers it's that simple lol
I personally wouldn’t think twice if I had a hot coworker that was dtf but then again I’m not in a position of authority so maybe that changes things. Still, as long as there’s no manipulation due to the power imbalance and everything’s consensual I think the only people these dudes have to answer to are their wives
Cheating shouldn’t affect your work tbh but if he was cheating w a coworker then yeah that’s probably deserved esp if there was a power dynamic there

Don't f*** your co-workers don't be friends with your co-workers don't do anything with your co-workers for that matter is the way I see things so idk

Held liable for what tho? And yes, I haven’t dated a coworker before but wouldn’t rule it out tbh. The cheating is a whole other thing but a man’s moral failings shouldn’t impact his career

For a lawsuit in case s*** goes bad.
For example, Ime's case the reason why he got suspended for a year (and most likely fired) is the relationship went sour and he started harassing the said employee that he was f***ing. This scenario (that is all too common in most workplace relationships) plays a big part in why co-worker relationships are forbidden.
ESPECIALLY when the other person holds power over the other person and they're not in the same level of position.

the crazy part is men DO cheat all the time.
You know why the ones that do don't get fired for it?
They don't s*** where they f***ing eat.
all the beautiful cheatable girls in the world and you wanna go after the one in your workplace?
Nah, you deserve to get fired for that. I don't care what anybody gotta say that's just messy and if companies let that slide that would start a DANGEROUS slippery slope especially considering most female employees of any business gotta deal with harassment from men they AREN'T f***ing

That’s fair enough, ngl wasn’t aware of udoka allegedly harassing the woman involved and all that. If that’s the case then yeah fair enough, he deserves to be punished. Cheating definitely muddies the waters on this topic but where do you draw the line - can two single people never have s***or enter a relationship because they met at work? That’s just stupid imo. Unless there’s improper conduct that directly impacts the company’s reputation and people aren’t hooking up in the office then let them be I say.
I don’t know the specifics of the YouTuber’s situation but parting ways with him seems extreme based on a moral f***-up. If they’re didn’t publicize it no one would know

morality clauses have been a thing in the industry since 1921 buddy lol

"22 percent of married couples in the U.S. met at work." You wanna scold them too?

I mean if that statistic involved infidelity sure
Like I said, morality clauses have been a thing in the industry since 1921. A company that HAS those in the contract can fire someone for cheating (ESPECIALLY) if it's in the workplace. They don't wanna get sued if s*** goes south.

Of course. I’m not disagreeing with you. I just think it can’t be a black and white determination that results in anybody who breaches the rule being fired (especially when it’s two single people doing it on their own time).
I don’t know enough about these specific cases to debate you in all honesty but it seems extreme for the try guys to fire that dude. Punish him, sure, but if all he did was consensually cheat (which he is 1000% in the wrong for doing) then I think it’s a bit much. The amount of workplace relationships that get overlooked is staggering

Correct.
Ned was not a single person doing it on his own time. Considering both him and the employee were fired I'm sure it was on company time lmfao
