I would consider myself a good writer when it comes to scholarly stuff, but would like to read something to improve on my diction and grammar.

The Elements of Style by William Strunk Jr. is a helpful resource for grammar

for diction, nothing beats reading. I've found e-readers to be very helpful because you can easily lookup words you don't know and then go back and review the words later to try to incorporate them into your vocabulary

^^The Elements of Style is a great shout

Also “Style: Lessons in Clarity and Grace” by Bizup and “Rules for Writing” by Hacker are great references
