Skincare routines won't help you cuz they don't treat the underlying issue. Accutane on the other hand works like a charm and the side effects are overexaggerated imo.

Nah some of the effects are def real from seeing some friends deal with it. It's why I don't take it for such minor acne I get. It's just consistent, but not debilitating

There are many effective treatment options available for acne. There are antibiotics, laser treatment, and also isotretinoine (accutane). I would consult your family doctor and then he may refer you to a dermatologist.

Using antibiotics for acne is such an aggressive method. They are so harsh on your microbiome and can cause severe lasting damage in ways we are only beginning to learn. Especially if used a lot as a child/young adult.

Podcast that interviews Dr. Robynne Chutkan, who spearheaded extensive efforts to diagnose and treat microbial discord in the gut and is a graduate of Yale and Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.

The effects that our gut microbiome has on the rest of the body are seemingly very powerful. Research is new compared to other medical sciences but first impressions suggest that an unhealthy gut microbiome contributes to both mental and physical illnesses. And antibiotics absolutely devastate those bacteria.

The last option, especially for something as relatively benign as acne, should be antibiotics. Very last option.

If you drinking a lot less water I can only imagine what type of poisonous fluids you drinking daily

Drink water ONLY. And wash or change your pillow case weekly.

Mayhaps. but acne is not so benign for a lot of people.

I'm just saying it should be a last resort. Antibiotics are abused to a extremely high degree. Majority are used in animal agriculture but every bit helps.

Any natural things I can do to fix this?

    Go see a dermatologist

  • Dec 26, 2020

drink more water, do more exercise, eat less fat and greasy s***, and pop skin vitamins. I'd also say don't pick at your acne with ya bare hands

    Did it work out?

Bumping this to say if nothing works, smoke weed.

I've been smoking weed on and off for years, everytime I quit my cystic acne flares up and gets worse for months, when I light up my swelling goes down and after a month I have zero cysts.

If u don't wanna get high try CBD oil, maybe it has the same effect.

Of course this is anecdotal, but there is a study out there which found that CBD reduces the production of sebum. I can notice the cysts forming and growing the same day I quit weed.

It has gotten a lot lot better but I still have a lil, but honestly this makes sense cus at this time I had just stopped smoking weed so
And I been meaning to get cbd but not for acne I didn't know it had benefits for acne
