First gym: Anytime Fitness, i fkn hate it but its a walk away/1 min drive. Tiny gym has most of the equipment you need and costs $42/month
Second gym: World gym, is $10/month way bigger and probably more equipment too but its a 10 min drive. Problem is il have the car certain times like early morning or probably evening/night. Less likely to go cause of commute? or if i dont got the car
Would appreciate yall opinions
Get a cheap used bicycle and ride to the gym that's your cardio in the bag and you never have to rely on a car.

B**** you can't bike for 15 minutes?
start at a cheap gym to get yourself familiar with basic equipment and getting started with a routine, after 3 or so months look into another gym with more amenities.

If car is 10 mins bike gonna be 30 easy. And i do lifting
why do you hate the first gym oP?
The price is insane $42/month when all there is are 3 benches, one is broken. Small gym too, its 24/7 and really close to me only good thing about it
I went yesterday and asked if they got any deals, man said if you sign up before we reopen (reopened today) we waive the “covid fee”

lmao that sounds s*** yeah fair enough.
how you only have 1 gym close by you though; there's like 5 near me - all walking distance.
you think you got the money to pay more and also pay for fuel?
if a 10 min drive is enough for you to cop out then u just od lazy

The 10min drive one is $10 so its cheaper, even with fuel.
Main thing is consistency when going to the gym and I literally cant make excuses if i go to the gym right next to me, so im conflicted if i should just pay 42/month
And u lucky as hell living in an area like that

Thanks for the bitter truth gotta work on myself

As an employee of a YMCA, deadass, go to a YMCA. They normally have everything you need. Most of us who work there as fitness instructors leave you alone unless you're looking for us. We don't get that crowded cause we slept on. The old heads who normally go there and lift will break you if that's what you're looking for. They drop hella gems on getting swole. On top of that and most important, they're cheap as f***. You get access to everything. Yoga classes, swimming, spin classes, etc.
If you're looking to focus on the necessities of working out and don't need that much s*** a YMCA is the kinda gym for you.
Ahh...
