As an employee of a YMCA, deadass, go to a YMCA. They normally have everything you need. Most of us who work there as fitness instructors leave you alone unless you're looking for us. We don't get that crowded cause we slept on. The old heads who normally go there and lift will break you if that's what you're looking for. They drop hella gems on getting swole. On top of that and most important, they're cheap as f***. You get access to everything. Yoga classes, swimming, spin classes, etc.

If you're looking to focus on the necessities of working out and don't need that much s*** a YMCA is the kinda gym for you.

Everything that you need to enjoy?

  • Wait you're complaining about a 10 minute drive?

Pools, indoor (or outdoor) track, boxing equipment, basketball court, a sturdy squat rack. The Y can really hold you down, especially if it's in a rich town.

First gym: Anytime Fitness, i fkn hate it but its a walk away/1 min drive. Tiny gym has most of the equipment you need and costs $42/month

Second gym: World gym, is $10/month way bigger and probably more equipment too but its a 10 min drive. Problem is il have the car certain times like early morning or probably evening/night. Less likely to go cause of commute? or if i dont got the car

    Would appreciate yall opinions

10 minute drive is nothing lol, take that if the world gym is way cheaper. Set a schedule you can follow and go there.
Worst case ride a bike there.
If you're worried about excuses, you'll make an excuse even if the gym was at your house, just do the 10 a month one for a month and see no how it be goes, you literally only lose 10 bucks.
42 for a s***ty gym is ass, you might as well just workout from home

I would hope that would be the case for all gyms that are open for now

I had a membership to Anytime Fitness. I hated it. They didn’t tell me I couldn’t cancel during a time when I fell into some really bad financial problems.
