I just saw Neil last night in Bridgeport Connecticut and man he f***ing served so much c*** there was a c*** outage across the entire state afterwards

Second time seeing Neil, caught him solo acoustic in Philly in 2018… I love him so much

He’s really one of those few that your life is totally different after

i had the most ideal first listens too hearing on the beach and tonights the night at like 4/5 AM and i was just so speechless. i can't believe i was living without ambulance blues in my life

what would yall recommend after having heard after the gold rush, tonights the night, rust never sleeps, and deja vu. i really do prefer the open skied songs/spacious soundscapes like ambulance blues and motion picture

Harvest for sure, Hawks & Doves, it also doesn’t look like it but American Stars N Bars is nearly perfect minus like two songs

But if you’re really feeling him, his archived albums and the live releases are where I’d really go. Albums like Hitchhiker and Homegrown are from the eras you’re listening to now but just took decades for a release.

He’s one of the best live performers too, all the old live shows he’s released in the last four years rival the studio albums. I’m at the point where I find myself throwing on the live albums first

check out his Buffalo Springfield songs then Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere which has his all time best song (Cowgirl In The Sand)

Poncho was amazing too but the guitar synergy he had with Danny Whitten is unrivalled

Sometimes Everybody Knows feels like his best album. So loose and fresh, amazing stuff

its not quite as consistently classic as Goldrush, Beach, Tonight or Rust but it almost is and the highs are his highest

AS&B is criminally underrated if you take off those first two tracks I swear

I did forget Everybody Knows, that’s absolutely on me. My brain blanked on all the Crazy Horse stuff for a minute because how could I leave out Zuma
