tonights the night is his best expression of emotion. on the beach might have better lyrics and express the depression more poetically, but tonights the night is just more raw and less polished. at times it feels like hes on the verge of tears or stumbling around drunk

one of those bands where im a fan but i dont really love the singers voice. except certain times (mostly on OK computer) he sounds perfect for the music. its more on the later electronic-y stuff that i dont like his voice over as much, its better for more straightforward alt rock i think
