they recommended it cuz its accessible and sort of the "beginner's choice"
i think its his highest selling album and it has 2 of his biggest hits

Me neither
You need to start insisting people start with Buffalo Springfield
this is still one of Neil's hardest
And this still one of his most beautiful
!https://youtu.be/s8EUL-O3hRAAnd this still his most opulent
!https://youtu.be/aEDR15fiQCQadmittedly i haven't explored the buffalo springfield stuff
i gotta get on that immediately and i'll post thoughts itt
what is his best album?
On The Beach
Everybody Knows
Tonight's The Night
After The Goldrush
Rust Never Sleeps

They were one of the biggest bands in LA (after the Byrds, Love and Doors) and the second album is psychedelic mosterpiece worth revisiting in perpetuity
I SEE BLOODY FOUNTAINS AND 10 MILLION DUNE BUGGIES COMIN DOWN THE MOUNTAINS
The imagery of this song

Makes sense to not have the same thread at the top of the sxn but buried behind the morgan wallen thread is kinda ridiculous

even the site itself is programmed to suppress actual music discussion

Tribute post for Danny Whitten
Neil's rhythm guitarist in the first formation of Crazy Horse. laid down the most amazingly sparse backing for Neil to go on his epic excursions like Cowgirl in the Sand and Down by the River
easily one of the all time best and most unique lead/rhythm duos. Unfortunately he got deep into heroin (Needle And The Damage Done etc were about him) and Neil had to kick him out of the band. He was a great singer/writer himself and managed one great album with the Horse before he overdosed
and it's amazing

There’s actually a decent amount of Sabbath fans on here, pretty cool
But that’s a good question. Outside of bands like Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, etc, I’d say a big chunk of artists/bands from 60s/70s, I know like a bunch of songs but just never really dug into albums.
gene one of the few guys to rival neil tbh

OD'd on the very same night Neil told him to pack it up. RIP
I like a few songs but I’ve not done a deep dive. Record I’m most familiar with is probably Zuma.
you should try rust never sleeps!
WELL my morning is off to a beautifully depressing start
Thom said take the drums out I need em to hear what Neil said.
