So I recently decided to rewatch the series on Netflix after having not seen it in a few years, and honestly the voice actors being changed/ no "fly me to the moon" at the end is a major disappointment. Rei and Shinji sound similar enough that I didn't notice at first but Asuka sounds too different to me being so used to the original. Still, one of my favorite series of all time

fun fact robin williams was a huge fan of the series (and anime in general)

if you wanted to delve into the deeper aspects of the show and learn about yourself just watch the show a bunch

and if you just want more eva to watch the rebuild movies exist

they are not perfect at all but its kinda my guilty pleasure. totally more shallow than the original series but im guessing that has something to do with the current gainax drama lol
