Itâs jumps around throughout different periods of Yeâs career. Final episode is about 90 mins.

Still interesting to see
The Kanye rant about being in the Roc-A-Fella sweatshop was coming until Dame walked in the party
The Kanye rant about being in the Roc-A-Fella sweatshop was coming until Dame walked in the party
Both looking at each other like
I never want to hear Jay didnât help Ye again
I been saying that BP2 look was big
who says he didn't help him? I think the bigger point is that not everyone who gets a feature on a jay-z song (on a weak album) becomes kanye
The last episode is a mixture of 2014-2016 footage and then picks back up with KSG sessions in China, followed by DONDA 2020 sessions.
KSG sessions in china?? I'm in

Kanye stans used to say it all the time at least in TLOP era
And yeah being featured on anybodys album isnât going to make you. See all those YM guys on Wayne projects or even Cyhi with Kanye. But getting on a song with a big name does give you some looks
Thereâs also this narrative on here that Jay never wanted to sign Ye and didnât believe in him when in this doc it doesnât seem to be the case. Jay was on tour when Ye was signed and Coodie said it seemed like Dame signed him to keep him as a producer then when Ye asks Jay to let him on BP2 Jay was welcoming saying âclose mouths donât get fed if you wouldnât have asked you wouldnât have been on thereâ and said heâd put his money on Kanye

yeah I think it's pretty clear that dame was the one holding ye back for some reason

Makes more sense now why Ye didnât go with Dame when Roc split. Idk if they address that in the doc I still have 45 minutes to go on part 2
âEvil Hov was s***ting on Kanye but Dame believed in Kanye as a rapper!â
Dame wanted The College Dropout to be a Roc-A-Fella compilation, dead that narrative

Kanye went over Dames place to play him music and he was on a phone call while Kanye played his song then took Biggs and left talking about âyou guys can stay if you wantâ
Pharrell was a real one at least. He saw the vision

Things were going down behind the scenes between Jay/Dame/Biggs obv, the doc makes it seem like they was blackballing Kanye for no reason
