There’s also this narrative on here that Jay never wanted to sign Ye and didn’t believe in him when in this doc it doesn’t seem to be the case. Jay was on tour when Ye was signed and Coodie said it seemed like Dame signed him to keep him as a producer then when Ye asks Jay to let him on BP2 Jay was welcoming saying “close mouths don’t get fed if you wouldn’t have asked you wouldn’t have been on there” and said he’d put his money on Kanye
