Very hopeful for this, im not worried about the writers having quit. I think they are going for a bigger scope than the original.

Although the original is very good the strongest point is the world they built and the charachters. I think the story with some tweaks can be expanded and improved.
One piece was fulcral to have the creator on board because the story and world-building is already very good in the original

and you can definitely feel by the look this has that this has way more care and budget than One Piece

getting uncanny valley vibes from this poster still cautiously optimistic as the actors seemed like a good fit from what i seen
