Didn’t have a problem with it. The show did so many things right and that one ‘ass pull’ does nothing to deter that.

We got an avatar that knew what they were doing and had mastery over her elements mad early (sans air for obvious reasons) compared to Aang fumbling the bag constantly 👍
We got good character progression AND development from not only the main character but the side cast and villains as well 👍
We got a more matured and linear story 👍
Republic City was cool as f*** to me all around 👍
Metalbending police force led by Toph’s descendant was 👍
New, inventive ways to go about bending like probending arenas and lavabending 👍
The whole industrial era setting 👍
First season was literally excellence imo 👍
Plenty of dope callbacks 👍
The animation was great 👍 so many memorable moments thanks to that
The whole flashback with how the avatar came to be 👍👍👍👍👍

Korra and Asami as characters 👎 did not like
Half the villains 👎
Korra not having bending for nearly a whole season 👎

Korra season 1 is heat

Pros:
Side characters such as tenzin and the family, toph, befong, and the movie agent guy.

Villians general in the last season, and amon.

Settings were cool.

Spirit idea was cool.

Character cameos were fun.

First season was rhe best

Worst avatar to possibly exist by destroying connections to past lives.

Worst student ever to tenzin

Worst character progression if any. She doesn't change at all except that's she's damaged. She's not sorry for how she acts or for any of her mistakes. She's just sad that she lost with all she knows how to do. Beat the s*** out of her problems.

She gets handed everything to her cause she doesn't want to change. She gets the avatar state in one season along with air when she learns nothing of how to do it naturally. She gets it cause she lost everything else.

Everyone else now:

A lot of the side characters are boring or annoying or one dimensional

Original avatar idea was a stupid rewrite of how the avatar elements were made in the first season. They were learned from nature and the creatures.

And finally a lot of this comes from the fact that the original creators of this show couldn't write a decent linear storyline from season 2 to 4. They kept doing the stupid villian of the season formula.

And finally no indication of gay/bi korra until the last episode of the series. Just a cheap low hanging brow of appeasing the gay community when representation can be made so much better.
