They’ve used Return of The Jedi as a comparison for the end of this series.
Remember at the beginning when playing DnD, they needed two rolls to kill Veccna so maybe they take 2 seasons on him…. I don’t think they’ll introduce a new monster in S5…. Veccna/MindFlayer should still be the monster.

But they did say that there’s likely going to be a time skip for S5 though so I wonder how they’d handle that if they left S4 on a cliffhanger or with Veccna still alive
Jun 21, 2022YA ICEMAN ACEI guess I should trust the Duffer Brothers more than myself on this front but I’m kind of worried about them continuing the show after this season is over. This arc just seems like a really perfect way to tie up the whole story and have it come full circle from its origins. I think they’re gonna run the risk of it getting too repetitive, so I hope they can prove me wrong.
Idk, I feel like they've got it planned out and have had it planned for a while.
I'm intrigued as to what they'll end this season with, really enjoyed episode 7.
