But he's not more successful. His brand is tarnished.

He will never be what he was supposed to have been.

He's gotta get off the d****.

this was the whole point of this thread but people started talking about his talent. Everyone knows his talented af but his legacy is tarnished because of his bad choices. You understand it others don’t

I agree deuces and look at me now definitely helped him after how hard graffiti flopped. But after F.A.M.E. his career never really did numbers like it used to to prior to the whole Rihanna thing. He also decided to collab with super mid artist and started rapping which kinda ruined his pop image

He started rapping because his pop image was shattered and it was working for Aubrey.

He still puts out decent singles but its kinda paint by numbers type s***.

No more movies, no high profile collaborations, no boutique label, no nothing.

Exactly my point! Despite his talent his not doing anything big. Dude hasn’t a big collab till no guidance. And obviously drake gets all the credit for that song. Drake just uses people but just like this topic ktt isn’t ready for that discussion

Bro???? The collab with Tyga and Kevin McCall is what revived his career. You’re very misinformed friend

Chris Brown has a great career. He doesn’t chase hits, doesn’t seem to be playing the industry game and is constantly touring with shows at nice spots. A lot of artists would kill to be in Chris Brown spot.

Preach brother. Dude is so good he doesn’t care if you like him anymore

Ktt isn’t ready for this conversation though

This man had multiple chances to revive his career after the whole Rihanna thing and after graffiti flopping. EVERYONE literally everyone wanted him and biebs too collab so bad! Especially after how good up and next to you was but what does this man do? Collabs with tyga and Kevin McCall and after that every solo album he dropped was a flop

Then in 2011 after riri dropped we found love all the eyes were on him and her and all he had to do was drop a collab album with her and it would literally go diamond but instead he drops a mid song with her and then another trash album

Fast forward 7 years later man finally got a hit thanks to to papiconda 🐍 and instead of capitalizing on another opportunity this man would rather collab with Joyner Lucas

Only because you’re only looking at the numbers fool. Chris Brown is still making GOAT music and not giving a f*** by putting out whatever he wants.

Yeah he would’ve been bigger than Drake if the s*** with Rihanna didn’t happen but he can’t change the past so just listen to all 400 songs he’s released and appreciate greatness.

He was supposed to be there.

Ik maturity has a bit to do with it but his foundation a.k.a. family did him a disservice.

How you got Chris Brown being Blood? He seems like he was just in LA going wild with no OG guidance, no day ones.

Just shows you no one had his best interest at heart and everyone just stayed quiet and kept cashing his checks.

He hasn't even matured as an artist.

Some of that s***shit he sings is cringe worthy.

I need a mature project from CB with some depth, songs about his experiences, not another formulaic f*** song.

    Just my opinion

his talented but his talent stopped being projected on the charts post 2012

Daniel from dvsn is literally a better singer than Chris brown and the Weeknd but his talent goes unnoticed because he isn’t getting the right promotion. Like I have said this thread was about him getting big. I wasn’t talking about talent. Chris brown is the most all rounded artist no doubt

This is really the only critique of Chris that I think has any merit.

The mature songs are there but they’re mixed in with a bunch of s*** about p**** and d****. If his next album is shorter I have no doubt it will be a classic
