I was watching Will Buxton And Lawrence Barretto earlier and Will brought up that if RP was talking to Alonso it was probably to replace Stroll because Perez brings in way too much money and is too good of a driver to replace...

Why on earth would Lawrence Stroll drop his son lol. With the cost cap coming they aren‘t dependant on Perez sponsor money anymore.

Good point about the cost cap, I keep forgetting it's coming next year. But he still wouldn't want to drop Checo because he brings in more sponsor money than anyone on the grid, and sponsor money is still gonna play a big part in their budget for next year.
