Yep. It's one of 3 songs to have Aaron on lead vocals on the album. I dig the feel of it, but I need something a bit more...experimental. This is all very The National-esque. It's good, but not the best.
New single:
!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fSOm7JaIPfsRenegade (ft. Taylor Swift) out tomorrow night.
that cover art and two taylor swift features i’m fighting for my life if this gonna be basically folksnore/everboring demos keep that s***
aaron singing main vocals is definitely gonna take a little getting used to but I do like his voice. The first track sounds a lot like a natural extension of what aaron was doing on folklore/iaetf (which I am not complaining about since I love those records)
Idk what's the deal with the hate for the BRM debut either because I really loved that album. It seems like they're going for less of an experimental vibe on this one which I'm cool with but I really liked what they were doing on that record.

Listen to their first LP. It's definitely not folklore/evermore demos. The Swift features might be though. "Hoping Then" definitely isn't.

this is horrible don’t link me this s*** ever again

i love their first one but the singles ain’t even that good for this new one i’m just waiting for a new bon iver album the two singles they dropped better than these
Honestly, I don’t even remember the first album, which shows how disappointed I was in it given how much I love Aaron and Justin.
Hope this one delivers
tell me this isn't a banger tho
That production crazy, you saying Justin did this?

Aaron Dessner wrote it and it was intended to be a song in his and Vernon's side band.
Vernon sings backup and plays guitar all over the evermore album.
Invisible String, Dorothea, Happiness, Closure, and Right Where You Left Me from Folklore/Evermore were all intended to be Big Red Machine songs.
First album was good
Loved the song forest green where justin does a future impersonation basically
happy to see Anais Mitchell x Vernon back
the taylor song is fantastic too
3/3 so far
loved the first album but this one looking like it ain't for me
Will give it at least one full spin when it drops though with an open mind, I owe Justin that much
