Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love,
Where there is injury, pardon
Where there is doubt, faith,
Where there is despair, hope,
Where there is darkness, light,
Where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much
seek to be consoled as to console,
not so much to be understood as to understand,
not so much to be loved, as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
it is in dying that we awake to eternal life.– St. Francis of Assisi
Dear Lord,
I need your help. Sometimes I seem to know what to do, but I don’t do it. Thank you for the gift of life and the ability to make choices. Please help me to develop self-discipline, the ability to control my thoughts, actions, and words.
I know that discipline is not easy, but I must live a healthy, productive, and fulfilling life. Help me to set goals for myself and to work towards them with determination and perseverance. I pray the power of the Holy Spirit speaks into my spirit, guiding me in setting goals that will glorify your name. As I die to the flesh, I commit to becoming laser-focused in working toward the goals you have shown me.
Lord, grant me the strength and motivation to overcome laziness and procrastination and to make the most of every day. Help me to resist temptation and to make wise decisions, even when it is difficult. 2 Timothy 1:7 “For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” I surrender daily to your leadership.
Thank you for loving me and for always being with me. I pray that I may grow in self-discipline and become who You created me to be. Amen.

Amen. I can definitely relate to this. Thank you for sharing.
Does anybody have a list of great instrumentalists? Like a Yo-Yo Ma, Charles Lloyd, Terrance Martin, Wynton Marsalis, etc. of Christian instrumentals?

Sam Levine has a bunch of jazzy worship instrumentals with saxophone as the lead instrument. Check him out if you like the vibe.

I think I’m looking for something more specific that’s not as worldly as Christian Jazz but not as low quality as some random pianist playing Amazing Grace in their local church.
You know how Whitney Houston, one of the greatest singers ever, made a Gospel album? I was hoping a great pianist / cellist / violinist/ harpist / flutist etc. also made a Gospel / Christian project. A sort of New Blue Sun (Andre 3000) type of album if you will
Okay so I think I found what I’m looking for in terms of instrumentals
You basically look for the best composers / pianists / violinists etc. in history and you find top orchestras or instrumentalists that play those works and you get an amazing experience that doesn’t sound or feel cheap / amateur.
Going to take time going through each instrument category but I started with Christian composers and landed on George Frideric Handel first.

We are to be like Christ, not like Christians
Lord God, I come to you a sinner
And I humbly repent for my sins
I believe that Jesus is Lord
I believe that You raised him from the dead
I would ask that Jesus come to my life
And be my Lord and Savior
I receive Jesus to take control of my life
And that I may live for him from this day forth
Thank you, Lord Jesus, for saving me with your precious blood
In Jesus' name, amen
Won’t be posting much from here on out I’m now Trying to walk the path of God this was long overdue but God has planted a seed in me and now it’s time love all of you and I’ll add you guys to my prayers God bless all of you AMEN
