I love PPDS, and know for a fact he will never top it. Can’t listen to the music he makes now, it’s almost cringe.

Ya I love that version more as well but I think cudi just wants to have fun with his s*** now, he’s made a lot of serious music and typically those types of songs coincide with darker lyrics and themes for him and he’s not in that space anymore.

Cudis always been s*** at picking singles lol. The fact that by design wasn’t a single still confuses me.

It’s literally one of his best songs ever and we got frequency instead lol

his first singles have always been one of my least favorite songs on every single album he's put out

Ya and I like frequency too but it’s the literal definition of a deep cut song. All in wasn’t a bad choice but the lead singles should’ve been by design and baptized in fire.
