Hold on so this is a response to noname? Does anyone have the tweets that made Cole record this song and her responses

The majority here thinks its subs aimed at her.

I think it is, but I also think its a "If the shoe fits" situation.

We as a community is doing work

    We don’t need celebrities lmao

This movement has been strong without them

We definitely need people with power.

People are attacking Kendrick & Cole when the white executives putting these artists in slaves deals to profit off our culture haven’t said or donated s***

Black people don’t know who the real enemy is half the time so they come after rich celebrities because they think they have the answers

At the end of the day I love every black person that did something in attempt to get us in a better space as people. That’s what it should always be about. Not to hold others to the fire and not to say what you did but for a better future for the children to come after us. This song is trash and so is Noname but my love extends there too.

Nope we need to be the ones to push change in our own communities f*** that

That’s all well and good but there’s serious systemic racism in place and that’s not gonna change from grassroots change

There needs to be changes at the top and that’s not even gonna begin to happen until the majority of people start to understand about those systems in the first place

We’re past awareness in 2020 famo.

    We aren’t though

Maybe we’re past awareness of police brutality but I promise you there’s a lot of people who’ll still deny that there’s a racial issue

Let alone stuff like mass incarceration that’s less overt. A lot of people I knew from home are only just starting to learn about stuff like that even Black people

Y’all should be directing more of this expectation towards white celebrities that benefit from black culture tbh

People like Post Malone are ones who should be doing the most and who have a big audience of people who probably are ambivalent or against the movement they could affect

Expecting culture vultures to genuinely care about blacks??? Chuck Berry could tell u not to do that brother

Every new album and song that drops there's always people calling it mid or s*** or something

    Some people don't appreciate anything

Honestly though I appreciate that about KTT
No point in having discussion if everyone feels the same way
