    safe

    We aren’t though

Maybe we’re past awareness of police brutality but I promise you there’s a lot of people who’ll still deny that there’s a racial issue

Let alone stuff like mass incarceration that’s less overt. A lot of people I knew from home are only just starting to learn about stuff like that even Black people

The people who deny police brutality exists in 2020 are not going to be changed at this point.

We definitely need people with power.

What power does a celebrity have? Honestly Dave said it the best, the streets is talking for themselves.

Money and influence are objectively powerful lol.

Dave was talking being active on social media if I recall

  • And once the Caucasian takes that black sound and hits the white market with it, there’s no financial blowback from leaving black fans in the dirt

I remember when post came up off white iverson, I was putting that track on to whites. And that’s how it works every time a white person comes up off hip hop, unless they’re doing party or nerd s***

funny thing is i think she was more going after k dot than cole but jermaine still felt some type of way

She's borderline racist, pretentious as f***, and comes off as condescending. I have no idea why she thinks she has a position to critique other artists like that. it's hella unappealing

The current issue on hand, isn’t something you can just throw money at. The system does not work for us - us being black folks - it needs to be burned down and built from the ground up.

I promise you bro the vast majority of people can be changed
It’s hearing it over and over that starts to open them up to it and once they’re willing to actually consider it they’re willing to change

I agree there’s a lot of people long beyond helping to understand but I think you’re underestimating how many people just don’t get how systemic it is

Like s*** I’ve been supporting Black Lives Matter and etc since Trayvon Martin but it wasn’t till like 2 or 3 years ago when I read The New Jim Crow that I really started to understand that police brutality is a symptom of a wider deeper issue
