Lol you think this was better than what Drake did on the Harlow record? Ruined that boys life
gonna relisten to that cuz i forgot about it
I actually like a couple songs off that lol
Evidence is an underground legend imo
Yachty def changed his game a lot and stepped up since his first hint at fame/relevancy. When he first was getting famous, he didn’t take anything seriously and was def in the bucket of “I’m just having fun and I want to be famous”.
He was pretty irreverent towards rap as a whole but he switched up and started really taking things seriously these past few years. Seems this happened w a lot of rappers from that era who are still relevant.
for sure. his glow up is one for the books
.......am I missing something about this bar? Are people really blown away by this? Please tell me they aren't.
Not even hating because it's a cool bar, but it's really not incredible like I've been seeing it get gassed up
I don't think people listen to bar heavy rap anymore or sumn cause that's average lol
thought yall were reaching but listening to it now, he blatantly dissing kendrick. mentioned steppers twice and even tied the 2nd steppers bar to rappers that profit off racial strife and go missing in action.
i don’t think it’s fair for him to criticize kendrick like that but he clearly dissing him. same s*** noname disses him for.
The album came out 5 years into his mainstream career
You’re forgetting how much reach he had with 2014 FHD. If he ended his career on that note, he would be set for life as an impactful and amazing artist imo nothing he’s done has topped that
The racial stress fake activist seems like a direct line to Kendrick after he ends it with “studio steppers”
definitely is. studio steppers isn’t even a real term lol he stretched it to diss him
I don't listen to Veeze.
So I guess Veeze is the new nigga Cole fans gonna randomly hate on and assume someone who isn't impressed by a Cole line listens to...
I'm sure that energy will change the moment he does a random feature on a Veeze track. They did it with Young Thug. They did it with Migos. They did it with 21 Savage. They currently doing it with Lil Yachty.
this post would make for a great retrospective on yachty's career
lmaoooo
definitely is. studio steppers isn’t even a real term lol he stretched it to diss him
I feel like people are quick to deny it because they don't want it to be true but yeah he used "steppers" like twice
Not even hating because it's a cool bar, but it's really not incredible like I've been seeing it get gassed up

I'm not even tryna hate either but I'm seeing that basic s*** get gassed on my TL and I'm wondering if niggas have really gotten that slow

it’s disappeared from the mainstream when you think about the Moneybagg Durk baby type music compared to Wayne Cam or Jadakiss being in their position at one point lol
Ovo Yachty been hitting different
You’re forgetting how much reach he had with 2014 FHD. If he ended his career on that note, he would be set for life as an impactful and amazing artist imo nothing he’s done has topped that
And you obviously don’t remember the madness that Cole caused when he announced 4YEO outta nowhere and the success it garnered is evident

4YEO is dope but The Offseason s***s on that album lol
Ya are reaching like crazy. He wasn't dissing kendrick lol
Yea he's not. But there's enough in there to get people talking. Cole is good at that
it’s disappeared from the mainstream when you think about the Moneybagg Durk baby type music compared to Wayne Cam or Jadakiss being in their position at one point lol
Yup that's very true
Like that line would be just another bar on any Griselda/Ransom/38 Spesh song lol
The racial stress fake activist seems like a direct line to Kendrick after he ends it with “studio steppers”
The whole other scheme that had “the way you step” talking about Kendrick trying to keep up with the new flows
This is insane. He going at him for like half the verse
So I guess Veeze is the new nigga Cole fans gonna randomly hate on and assume someone who isn't impressed by a Cole line listens to...
