The drake bars and the reaction to them, and now this verse is honestly the biggest example of the energy that has been building. for Cole to say all this stuff and make his first competitive rap verse since 2014 is a big deal, on a song very connected to drake and be saying the things he’s saying where he’s clearly addressing people and almost taking on drakes style

I still haven’t gotten an answer on who the first lines are actually about if not kendrick. because it’s clearly not some vague one size s***, that first part is addressing someone specific.
