And it’s not the topics he chooses, it’s the fact that he does it in the same way. He isn’t even rhyming the same thing in a new way. It’s the same flow. Same topics. Same word usage. Same tone. Same everything. No matter the song.

I liked this verse but completely agree. Post-AWT he’s lost some sparks and is sticking to a formula.
It’s hard to even gauge his true ability because he’s best on his solo music but never releases it.
In the end, as a longtime fan, you just become grateful for every verse

It’s kinda cool Rory from the podcast i watched for years is randomly dj khaled-ing himself but it’s kinda odd that we collectively let folks take off the billing of the actual artists of these type songs (Fridayy, Reggie, Starrah) in favor of larger names that aren’t even recording artists sometimes lol.
