As for the second video, the one which you are indeed commenting on, you're conveniently ignoring that Ne-Yo explicitly denies having said anything wrong in his first video before retracting his apology. In the first video where he just straight up denies the existence of transgender people and propagates the myth that children are being pushed into getting surgery. Whether he is speaking from a place of bigotry or ignorance or whatever, these are not beliefs we can just "agree to disagree" with.

I didn't say neyo will get ppl killed, I said Ne-Yo's beliefs get people killed. Shockingly, the things people believe and how we react to it have real world consequences believe it or not. If you don't think so, why are you agaisnt tolerating bigotry anyways lol? Is that just your feelings? These beliefs motivate discrimination, harrassment, murder, suicide, legislation, etc. Its important that when someone says something wrong, they get pushback on it, no matter who it is. On a macro level the beliefs we normalize and allow to spread unchallenged influence people who go out and act according to those beliefs. If you want research on this, look into prejudiced norm theory.
