But even in that case, I’m not in it for recognition or anything
Being able to survive and profit off of a talent that you’ve been complimented on for so long without a physical form of support doesn’t help keep somebodies dream alive

I’ve been told that my music was trash or average before, and I’ve progressed since then, and I know I will always see progression

at a certain point, you get tired at having to try to prove your worth to people when you know your capable

I quit my job, I left college, and knew this was the passion I had

How many drawbacks can somebody take before realizing that maybe what they once had big dreams and actual goals for are pointless in the long run

You can’t sit your ass on a computer and expecting to just blow up, you have to go out and network, market and make a name for yourself. Have you even done shows? It’s a lot more to making music and actually wanting to be something without putting in the extra effort. It usually more about the business than the actual music.

If you’re already trying to give up then you didn’t really try at all
