Niggas that been working from home dont even wanna go back to the office. Theyre either quitting or trying to find work from home opportunities because there's more freedom and less pressure. Aside from the obvious services that need an office,i think the workplace is defunct at this point

Not mad at all. Happy for them, mad I can't do the same. My sister and my girl can only have that lifestyle because they live with me and I keep everything paid. Who is there for me to live off? Nobody, and that's the part that sucks. Again, not mad or upset, just venting.

they should have a hybrid like if people want to work in the office they can if they want to work from home they can because both are possible now in 2021.

Yeah working sucks. I'm gonna be going back to a steady job soon. Stacked up on unemployment and finally used the opportunity to do some work in the field I actually went to school for, instead of something that just pays the bills. Lotta commission work for audio/video editing and shooting footage. But since things are "getting back to normal" I'm gonna be looking for steady income kinda job. From what I've been looking for the pickings have been slim and/or bullshit.

used to be customer service adviser for trade but i was sitting down for eight hours a day completely out of my depth so i quit picking up calls and now i'm gonna be working in a bank soon, but i might get this kitchen job tomorrow.

Man f*** the bullshit, I just want that time to actually explore myself outside of daily work, and most importantly get educated. I try to tell my girl everyday what a great opportunity to better herself she's wasting by being unemployed and just sitting at home doing nothing all day. My biggest struggle with education is fitting it around fulltime work and house life.

society norms are pretty much - if you are under 25 you can live rent and food free with parents as long as you buy everythjng else

Yes this too. My friends that haven't gone back since the pandemic get unemployment. But the others in op don't, they just pure don't want to work and find ways around it, which is just so disheartening especially when they're living under your f***ing roof.

My sister been living with me since I bought the house off my folks so I ain't wanna kick my fam out. Besides, she pays her rent even though I haven't it relatively small, so like what can I say? Her boyfriend be paying for that s***. And my girl is my girl, I encourage her to work and everything, but like I love her and not like kicking her out would make a significant dent in my bills, just disheartening to see.
