Btw I’m no Nicki stan. I would just argue she is the definitive queen of Hip-Hop right now. I would not say it’s Missy who is currently not very active at all. Nicki still has a few years left at least.

I like Nicki but Missy's relevancy and hits lasted pretty long. And Missy's biggest hits like Get Ur Freak On and Work It are still relevant today.

Galang is like her best single ever. Songs like Sunshowers and Pull Up the People too

Kala only has having a major hit over Arular, I think Arular is a higher quality album

I think both could be seen as classics tho. MIA's career is crazy. She should never have been as successful as she was on paper given how underground her sound was and she did anyway.

Nicki doesn't have a classic album but she has classic verses and moments. Not every artist needs a classic album to be a legend.

Missy, Lauryn and MIA are always gonna be better, more versatile, influential, legendary and creative than Nicki to me tho.

Ms Dynamite is better too and had better hits (if you're from the UK) but has 0 relevancy outside of the UK so get why she doesn't count in this conversation to most people. Nicki still probably like top 5 females tho
